The Bad Taste Bears sprung into the public eye after the first batch of collectable figurines was released at the Birmingham International Spring Fair in 1999. Suddenly, by adorning an icon of innocence with the less savoury aspects of humanity, these teddy bears became a totem of cheeky rebellion and rapidly expanded into today's cheeky bear empire.
